Strange Transmissions

Transmission: “Space Babies” Source Quadrant 1, Sector 999 Length: 23 seconds Strength: 88rps Angle: 23.2, 53.7, 236.5 Description: Okay, this is freaking me out. I got the same “Space Babies” that I’ve seen before. This time though it specifically mentions Paris. It has a photo of the Eifel tower. Do these creatures know about us? They must know about us? How else could this happen? Are they spying on us? Why haven’t they contacted us? Maybe it’s just one of those things that have been beamed out to them. Maybe they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Transmission: “Sousaphone/saxophone”---Source: Quadrant 2.z, Sector 3300.2300---- Length: 60 seconds---- Strength: 89rps---- Angle: 22.25, 109, 109---- Description: A phone conversation between two talking instruments. Funny, one week ago, when I received my first transmission, I had no idea that a week later I’d be perfectly unsurprised to listen to a telephone conversation between a sousaphone and a saxophone. Anyway, I’m not sure what this piece is. Surveillance tape perhaps? What wonders the universe holds.

Okay, finally starting to sleep normally. Documenting the universe can wreak havoc on your sleep cycle. It’s been a little dry lately. Mostly partial transmissions, blips, and intergalactic home shopping channels. I’ll post one interesting piece from late last night. Then it’s on to scanning.

Transmission: “Shape Shifter”---Source: Quadrant 3.3, Sector 111.12---- Length: 66 seconds---- Strength: 85rps---- Angle: 19.25, 139, 0.05---- Description: Wow, I just made my last post and was powering down the equipment so that I could go to sleep, when this suddenly came in. It is amazing. There’s a man who looks human, but who can change the shape of his head. He just seems to will it and it happens. There are others in the transmission, but they can’t or aren’t doing it. Is he special amongst his kind or is he not amongst his kind? I really wish I could post video of this one. Check him out before, during, and after. Plus another of his “heads.”

Transmission: “Dancing Balls”---Source: Quadrant 4.4c.ccbn, Sector 638---- Length: 25 seconds---- Strength: 50rps---- Angle: 19.36, 236.6, 73.0---- Description: I’ve been trying to lock this in for an entire two days now. I finally got it at a reasonable strength. This thing blows my mind. It’s this weird box. Balls pop out of it and then dance around the rim. Then they drop back into the box. Is this a creature? A being? Some sort of Venus Fly Trap? Or is it a machine? Why would someone or something transmit this piece of video? Who is it intended for? Is this some sort of design for a machine? How the hell would a machine like that work?

Had to lay low for a while. Man from the power department was snooping around the neighborhood. I shut down the grid. Fortunately it powered back up fine. Here's the first transmission I received upon powering up........ Transmission: “Space Babies”----Source: Quadrant 3, Sector 16.37c-------- Length: 30 seconds----Strength: 94rps-----Angle: 23.2, 53.7, 236 Description: Bizarre, amorphous creatures. Seem to be able to breath in deep space with no equipment. Perhaps this is the start of a documentary. This is the second of these that I’ve seen. The first one went by too fast. I couldn’t get the information.

So, it doesn't seem like I'm going to have the time to post every transmission I receive. Also, doesn't seem wise to. I'll just put up a selection. Such as: Transmission: “Rainbows”----Source: Quadrant 3b.136, Sector 14.13---- Length: 64 seconds--- Strength: 72rps--- Angle: 34.6, 53.7, 128.19--- Description: Seems to be some sort of propaganda video against rainbows. I can’t imagine what the makers have against rainbows. Perhaps they’re able to detect energies that we’re not. Not sure. Here’s an interesting frame with what seems to be a bear like creature and another with what is clearly a dog dressed as a pirate. What it all means, I cannot say. Do they have dogs and pirates and bears in Quadrant 3b.136, Sector 14.13? Or have they somehow learned of them from us?

Transmission: “Flee-Flee Flah-Fluh” ----Source: Quadrant 4, Sector 67.123----Length: 60 seconds.----Strength: 88rps----- Angle: 13.9, 23.4, 194.48------ Description: First interstellar transmission ever received!!! Seems to be some sort of commercial for an unidentified product called “Flee-Flee, Flah-Fluh.” Contains humanoid creatures, along side creatures composed d of silverware. Also has image of odd monkey-like creature. What wonders the universe holds!

Sorry I have not updated this. I wanted to…but I couldn’t get away. I’ll say it simply as possible: There is life out there. THERE IS INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE. WE ARE NOT ALONE. Over the past few days I have received 13.5 hours of transmissions. It is unreal. I wish I was updating the blog the whole time. I just couldn’t pull myself away. There are these people, or creatures, or…whatever…they’re all over. I’m getting transmissions from at least 15 points in the universe. I’ll start keeping track here. You probably won’t believe me, but that doesn’t matter. I have seen it. I have recorded it. I know it exists! Here's the first moment of signal lock:

I should have added that tonight begins the search. I can't believe how calm I am. I really have no idea what's going to happen. I suppose I should be daunted. This is likely the beginning of months or even years of sitting here sifting through the universe for grains of sand. I'm not that worried. If there's something, I'll find it sooner or later.

Shockingly, I just slept all day. I really can't remember being this relaxed in a long while. It's as if completeing the machine has finished my mission. Really, it's just the beginning though....I realized earlier that I've only posted photos of what's going on inside. Of course, there's a lot going on outside as well. I can't really post those photos for a number of reasons. Here's a drawing from one of my early sketches though. It should give you somewhat of an idea of what's going on, even if it's not exact.

She is finished. Not sure how else to say it. If there is something out there to discover, this machine will discover it. I finished around 5am. There was cloud cover until seven and by then it was too risky. I will wait until night again. I have no idea what I will do all day. There's little chance that I will be able to sleep. It is difficult to express the joy inside of me.... I hold the future in my hands.

Holy crap. What a night. I really don’t know why, but everything started working at once. Perhaps the equipment felt sad for me. Whatever happened, it just started working. It’s not done, but the major pieces, the larger infrastructure is operational…I just read the last entry before this one. Weird how things can change over night. I’ll get a little sleep now. Look, it's almost operational:

Today has been a total waste. I couldn't get anything to work. It seemed like one systematic failure after another. I'm not running on much sleep. Not making smart decisions. There is no rush. But there is a rush. I am so close. Part of me thinks that I should sleep tonight. I’m so close though. If I can just iron these things out. Too much noise coming from the neighbor’s yard. This is what's giving me the most trouble right now:

Close call earlier. Nosey neighbors. He’s a bit of an idiot anyway. I doubt he’d have any idea of what I’m doing. Still though, if he starts talking about it... I got a lot done over night. I'm gonna get a couple of hours of sleep now. Not much new to show you. Still a little spooked by the neighbor. Here's a basic chart I'll be using until I rig up something more sophisticated. I think it should do the trick for now though.
